Bei fahrerlosen Fahrzeugen benötigt der Testbetrieb eine zusätzliche Sicherheit in Form einer Redundanz zur Bremsbetätigung. Unserer Notbremsaktuator bietet eine sichere Variante mit höchster Zuverlässigkeit. Sobald eine Kommunikationsstörung auftritt wird der Pneumatikzylinder über ein energielos öffnendes Ventil aus einem überwachten Druckspeicher betätigt. Das Bremspedal wird somit gedrückt und das Fahrzeug per ABS Bremsung abgebremst. Die Installation dauert weniger als 3 Minuten und erfordert keine Änderungen am Fahrzeug. Sie beeinträchtigt auch im eingebauten Zustand nicht eine manuelle Fahrzeugbedienung per Fahrer.
